Holly and John celebrated their love during an upscale spring wedding ceremony and reception at The Bell Tower last June.
The pair met through mutual friends during their freshman year of college. After some time, they began dating, which eventually led to a sweet proposal while strolling through the beautiful gardens at Cheekwood.
On the big day, The Bell Tower was set with swooping string lights, a staircase dressed with lush summer greenery, and a romantic candlelit aisle that ended with wooden ceremony arch adorned with more greenery.
A group of talented musicians known as The Corwin Trio also helped set the scene with beautiful string music. Holly’s bridesmaids were dressed in light blue chiffon as she stunned in an A-line gown with a long veil. John kept it sharp and simple in a classic black three-piece suit.
For the ceremony, close family and friends watched the pair share their vows from their socially-distanced seats both in the aisles and on the mezzanine.
After the couple exchanged rings and said “I do,” guests enjoyed a breezy cocktail hour before being seated for a number of appetizers, including bacon-wrapped sweet potatoes and key west crab cakes before a plated dinner. Tables were set with bright white linens and clear vases filled with classic white arrangements. Lounge areas with brass tables were also set for guests to relax and take in the beautiful day.
To close out the evening, High Tone Entertainment set the mood with lots of fun, upbeat tunes that got their family and friends out on the dance floor before Holly and John made their escape in a classic black and white vintage car!
