MEET ME AT THE ALTAR
Spring has finally sprung, and we couldn't possibly be happier!
With wedding season just around the corner, we're celebrating the return of warmer days by serving up some of our favorite ceremony looks that will inspire you to head down the aisle in style.
On the big day, a large majority of the magic happens down the aisle and at the altar. Unless we're talking open bar, the ceremony is where it all goes down and there's no turning back; that is unless you're Julia Roberts in a Garry Marshall movie.
Although couples often prefer to keep them short and sweet these days, the ceremony is the most important and most photographed part of the wedding day and should never be overlooked during the planning process.
Besides officially getting hitched and all that fun stuff, you also have a chance to wow your guests and define your wedding style in one fell swoop by making your ceremony space your own. And that's an impressive feat before cocktail hour!
From suspended floral rings to string light backdrops, our couples are always raising the bar just a little higher by elevating their altars and aisles with chic creative decor and accents as unique as their love.
Scroll on to get inspired by some of our favorite innovative ceremony ideas from real weddings. Try to pick just one, we dare ya!
1. Fluffy forals.
We know what you're thinking. Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. But hear us out!
Ashley and Justin incorporated a variety of one-of-a-kind floral decor elements by our friendor, PS Designs, that totally transformed their lavish, shabby chic ceremony at The Bridge Building into a lush, romantic oasis.
Overflowing florals in rustic urns with a custom floral arch framed the altar and rose petals were scattered down the aisle. A custom floral ring dripping with hydrangeas was suspended above for even more drama.
And the cherry on top? Airy, blush draping by Quest Nashville pulled it all together beautifully. We think Miranda Priestly would be proud.

2. Riverfront magic.
If you're a minimalist, are looking for ways to trim your decor budget, or simply adore a certain spot in your city, do like Taylor and Baron and leave it to the scenery!
Their sun-drenched riverfront ceremony at The Bridge Building utilized the venue's unparalleled views of downtown Nashville as their backdrop.

Thanks to our friends at Quest, romantic curtain-style draping provided a stunning ceremony backdrop alongside a custom whimsical floral arch from Forget Me Not Designs. Varying styles of lanterns and pillar candles were scattered down the aisle while gold Chiavari chairs and chandeliers added a feeling of luxury.

Erin and Seth's vintage-inspired riverfront ceremony at The Bridge Building transformed the industrial space into chic, southern soirée.
Tall floral arrangements from Enchanted Florist flanked their ceremony altar. While delicate bouquets marked each white-washed Chiavari chair from Liberty Party Rental. All with that unforgettable backdrop, Nashville.

5. Rooftop secret garden.
Tammy and Jeff's idyllic rooftop ceremony at The Bridge Building was inspired by the illustrious wedding featured in the hit blockbuster film, Twilight, and makes us swoon every single time.
Alex Westerhouse of Front Porch Farms and Westerhouse Weddings brought the space to life with enchanting white florals lining the aisle and a mixed greenery arch. And all to match Tammy's dramatic gown with embroidered florals! Obsessed.
