On December 15, 2018 Leigh Ann and Michael said "I do," with a cozy Christmas wedding at The Bell Tower.
These high school sweethearts stayed in the holiday spirit after Michael popped the question at Cheekwood, almost one year before they tied the knot.
It was most important to Leigh Ann and Michael that their wedding day was a stress free zone. Leigh Ann told us they wanted to, "enjoy the day! Weddings seem to always be so stressful for the Bride and Groom and we wanted to enjoy our moment without putting added unnecessary stress on ourselves."
And we couldn't agree more!
With their interests lying more in a fun reception, these two kept the traditions to a minimum. However, Leigh Ann did include something old, new, borrowed, and blue. She incorporated blue ribbon into her bouquet, as well as her late fathers wedding ring. Tissues please!
After an emotional ceremony, The Bell Tower was transformed into a glowing holiday haven. Candlelight centerpieces and sparkling Christmas trees created a warm ambiance while arrangements of evergreen, and colors of red and green added that holiday flair. No scrooges here!
Leigh Ann and Michael kicked off the night with a dance to "Stay With You" by John Legend and ended with a personal remix of "Come On Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners.
Except it wasn't over just yet! Leigh Ann and Michael capped off their winter wedding day with a night out on Broadway.
