Kelli and Scott's romantic downtown wedding at The Quarter perfectly embodied southern spring romance in a hip, urban setting.
These two met right here in Nashville, and Scott later proposed on the Pedestrian Bridge. "He had 4-foot tall metal signs on the riverfront that read "Marry Me." Groom goals, much?!
When it came to picking a venue for their wedding, the pair originally had somewhere different in mind. After visiting their first venue and not loving it, they remembered a friend had mentioned The Quarter.
"We instantly walked into French's Boots, not sure if anyone would be there to show it to us," Kelli told us. "Luckily, there was someone there that showed us the space. That day, we knew it was the one!"
Tones of rose gold with greenery and candlelight juxtaposed with the exposed brick walls gave the space a romantic yet modern feel.
After literally tying the knot during a sweet ceremony against the windows, guests toasted with sparkling white wine and snapped pictures in Details Nashville's fun photo booth. Props included!
Light bites by Dream Events & Catering made the rounds including caprese skewers, pink pear crostinis, mac and cheese bites, and shrimp salad wontons. For dinner, stations opened up for guests' perusal. Including a grilled cheese station, hot or not chicken and waffles, and a trio of salads. Yes to all!
Later, the couple kicked off an epic dance party starting with their first dance to "Wide Open" by Chris DeStefano. "He's our favorite songwriter here in town," Kelli told us. "This was the first song he wrote and actually released himself."
The celebration wrapped up with a visit to the ice cream sundae bar with all the toppings and a white glow-stick send-off. Scroll on for more from this romantic downtown wedding.
