Gwen and Jack's celestial-inspired wedding at The Bell Tower has us seeing nothing but stars!
This collegiate couple met while they attended Auburn University. A few years and a proposal later, they came to us requesting a stress-free wedding where everyone could have a great time and get down on the dance floor. Of course, we were happy to oblige!
The festivities began with a simple ceremony between the windows. White candles in varying heights lined the aisle for a warm, romantic glow. While a gold-framed chalkboard calligraphed by White Ink Calligraphy informed guests of the evening's schedule as they arrived.
Next up, guests made their way to the patio for wine and cocktails. Light bites served included ahi tuna baskets, fried green tomatoes, hot chicken sliders, tomato bisque and miniature grilled cheese sandwiches, and classic tomato bruschetta. Everyone received a cool, custom koozie to take home too!
Afterward, everyone made their way into the main space for dinner and dancing. Combining ivory, slate blue, lavender, and pops of greenery, the reception really came together simply and beautifully.
White hydrangea and lavender sprigs in vintage glass bottles filled with twinkle lights lined the head table. Guests wished the couple well by signing a celestial print of the night sky for a memorable keepsake.
For dinner, garden salads were waiting at each place setting to begin the meal, along with an antique key with a thank you note from the couple. They dined on honey BBQ bourbon chicken served with sautéed haricots vert and cheddar cheese and chive smashed potatoes.
Our favorite moment of the day was during the father-daughter and mother-son dance. The couple invited all fathers, daughters, mothers, and sons to join them on the dance floor. And seeing all of the guests sharing in that special song was such a sweet moment!
To wrap up, Gwen and Jack left through a tunnel of their friends and family and rode off on a pedicab. With a "Just Married" sign on the back, the newlyweds were carted off to Miss Kelli's for some late-night karaoke to continue the celebration.
