When Courtney and Mike met through work, they didn’t expect to fall in love, but a connection was formed. After a sweet romance, Mike proposed to Courtney on the rooftop of her high-rise apartment building.
Like many wedding days in 2020, Courtney and Mike’s went differently than they originally planned. When the couple decided to postpone their big celebration, they decided to mirror their proposal with a more intimate elopement on the rooftop of The Bridge Building.
So on the morning of June 27, 2020, Courtney and Mike exchanged their vows in front of their immediate family with the Music City skyline behind them.
Courtney stunned in a column-fitted dress with a beaded top, and Mike rocked a navy blue suit with a blue tie. A hexagonal wooden wedding arch draped in simple greenery served as a modern focal point of their small ceremony.
After they said “I do,” the newlyweds enjoyed a sweet bite of their simple two-tiered white and gold cake by Nashville Sweets and then a tasty brunch provided by Infinity. We love the dessert-first approach!
On the menu was a balsamic grape and apple salad, honey butter biscuits with buttermilk chicken tenders, and a plated entree of turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, goat cheese grits, and homefries. Yum!
Courtney and Mike will go on to celebrate with all of their friends and extended family in July 2021. For more of their sweet and simple elopement on The Bridge Building rooftop, keep scrolling!
