Carly and Andrew celebrated their nuptials with a timeless, classic wedding in early November 2019.
The pair met through a mutual friend during their sophomore year of college. The friend told Carly, "I have this friend I think you are going to hit it off with." Looks like she was right!
Andrew later proposed to Carly in front of her father and sister at a winery in Napa Valley. She was totally surprised! How sweet is that?
When it was time to let the wedding bells ring, Carly and Andrew knew they wanted to say "I do" at their church, Woodmont Christian. As for the reception, The Bell Tower and its historic look was hard to beat.
"We toured 11 different venues and they weren't even close," Carly told us. "When we saw The Bell Tower, we loved everything about it and knew we wanted to have our reception there."
Following their traditional church ceremony, the main space of the Bell Tower was adorned in soft ivory florals and lush greenery along with taper candles on each table. When guests arrived, they enjoyed a cocktail hour on the patio before settling into their seats.
Various dinner stations were set up with a trio of salad selections, a baked potato bar, a variety of flatbreads, and a BBQ brisket carving station.
Carly and Andrew kicked off the evening with an emotional first dance to "This Too Shall Last" by Anderson East. Friends and family were quick to join the couple out on the dance floor.
Instead of wedding favors, the pair decided on donating to Metro Animal Care and Control in honor of their 3 adopted furry friends.
