Becca and Mike's summer wedding at The Bridge Building was perfectly sentimental and super stylish to boot.
This travel-loving pair was inspired by the other loves of their lives like Vanderbilt, travel, and running. They found ways to incorporate them into their wedding day.
The couple chose to begin with the sweetest first look at Vanderbilt University. Vandy is incredibly close to their hearts as it's where they first met as seniors.
Following, the pair made their way to The Bridge Building for an intimate ceremony in the Cumberland space.
Sweet white florals with pops of sherbert orange by The Flower Smithy brought summer inside and dark lanterns along with white rose petals lined the aisle. While a dreamy chuppah with ethereal white draping and adorning florals framed the altar. Perhaps one of our favorite moments was hearing Becca and Mike's officiant speak. His words were so eloquent and heartfelt.
Afterward, guests enjoyed the Nashville summer sun and the skyline views on the riverfront patio. Passed hors d'oeuvres included scrumptious southern comforts such as brandy flamed chicken phyllo cups, hot chicken sliders, pear and feta hushpuppies, and shrimp and grits bites.
After cocktail hour, guests found their seats for a plated dinner. They were served house-smoked brisket with blackberry bbq sauce, stuffed portabellas, and maple mustard glazed chicken.
And it didn't stop there! For dessert, guests were treated to s'mores shooters, mini french toast bread pudding shooters and chocolate covered strawberries! Hungry yet? We are!
Guests had a blast taking snapshots on a Polaroid camera and writing special notes to the bride and groom before an awesome dance party kicked off on the rooftop.
After plenty of dancing and a few after dinner drinks, guests were handed light up wands to help send their beloved couple off across the Pedestrian Bridge.
