Amy and Tyler met eight years ago at Vanderbilt. Amy fell in love not once, but twice with Tyler and his goldendoodle, Tigger. Soon after, she followed suit and got one of her own. And wait for it, it was Tigger's half-sister Kensie!
After graduation, the squad moved to North Carolina for Tyler's medical residency. But because Nashville was still in their hearts, they moved back when it ended.
Excited to be home, they were thrilled to tie the knot at The Bridge Building. And we were just as thrilled to help bring their precious pup-inspired wedding to life!
This adorable couple found so many ways to invite us into their lives on their special day. Vandy school spirit and their love for their pups were evident in the little touches.
Floral collars were even made to include Tigger and Kensie in a few photos before the ceremony!
Following a sunny rooftop ceremony, guests enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres on the riverfront patio. They sipped on one of two signature cocktails, a Kens-a-rita or a Tig-uila Sunrise. Both appropriately named after their doodles!
For dinner, guests sat down to a plated dinner beginning with balsamic grape and apple salads. For the main course, they were served lemon and herbed baked chicken, grilled flat iron steak or bourbon glazed salmon.
Shortly after, a dance party on the rooftop ensued. Huge, custom-made cutouts of the bride and groom were passed around the dance floor causing more than a few laughs.
For dessert, guests indulged in a sweet smorgasbord of cakes covered in the palest pink buttercream by Dulce Desserts.
Later on, the couple departed across the Pedestrian Bridge through a tunnel of mini American flags. Guests were invited to join them on Broadway to continue the party, ending the evening in true Nashville style.
