Alexis and Zach celebrated their nuptials with a modern spring wedding full of neutral tones and trendy decor at the Bridge Building.
This pair met while attending the University of Central Florida in 2017. Despite being in every class together, several group projects, and hanging out most weekends, they didn’t start dating until the week of graduation. After graduating, Alexis was off to Kansas City and Zach moved to North Carolina to start their careers. Shortly after, they made their way to Nashville, and the rest was history.
With a pedestrian bridge proposal, it only made sense that these two said their “I dos” at the Bridge Building looking over their new favorite city.
When the wedding day arrived, Alexis and Zach shared a sweet first look before their rooftop ceremony. Alexis stunned in a fitted modern gown with a pearl beaded veil, elbow length gloves, and a bouquet of mixed spring florals. As for Zach, he rocked a gray suit, white silk tie, and black dress shoes before he later changed into a pair of Air Jordan 1 White Shadows.
On the rooftop, the ceremony was set with a daytime breeze, custom terracotta and cream wedding programs with a modern design, and stunning floral arrangements in gold vases, full of white blooms and pops of bright mauve, brown, and yellow. Following the vows, the couple took their wedding party on a pontoon saloon down the Cumberland River while guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the riverfront.
After snacking on soft pretzel bites and sipping on a signature cocktail, guests found their seats in the main space to enjoy selections from the dinner stations prepared by the in-house chefs at the Bridge Building. Selections included a four cheese penne pasta, a mashed potato station, trio of salads, and classic surf and turf. Yum!
The Cumberland space was decorated with a mix of farmhouse and round tables, taupe napkins against crisp white linens, white and gold taper candles, centerpieces of muted spring florals, a touch of gold, and trendy arched signage. On display was their citrus cheesecake, adorned with dried citrus fruits and roses. And for their guestbook, Alexis and Zach went with a custom shotski to sign and an old phone to record sweet messages.
Before the night came to an end, Alexis and Zach shared a first dance to the Disney classic, “Happily Ever After,” before opening the dance floor. After a night of celebrating, Alexis changed into a chic jumpsuit before she and her new husband had a glowing tunnel exit on the pedestrian bridge.
