Alex and Connor were married on The Bridge Building's rooftop on a snowy winter afternoon.
This sweet pair is from my hometown of Bloomingdale, Ind., and we first met when they were touring the venue.
It was so fun to work with a couple from the same background, even though we did go to rival colleges! 😉
Their classic winter wedding was very relaxed and easy going, just like them, with all of their closest family and friends celebrating with them.
Embracing the snowy season, the couple opted for cool tones including dove gray and navy blue. Fresh white florals by Forget Me Not Designs were perfectly delicate and really popped against the darker shades.
A string lit rooftop ceremony kicked off the festivities. One of my favorite moments was seeing Alex's mom walk her down the aisle. It was such a special moment between mother and daughter.
After a short cocktail hour, guests sat down to a hearty plated dinner. They were served lemon and herb baked chicken and vegetarian lasagna with rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes.
The dance floor was a hit all night long, as was the three-tiered wedding cake artfully baked by Dulce Desserts!
To wrap up the evening, guests sent the couple off with glow sticks on the riverfront.
Congratulations to Alex and Connor!
