Kateylyn and Zack celebrated their marriage with a late summer rooftop wedding that featured mauve and navy details and a stunning view of Nashville at The Bridge Building.
These two met and started their relationship when a mutual friend set them up as prom dates at the end of their senior year of high school. Years later, Zack surprised Kateylyn in front of their family with a beach proposal at her grandparent’s house in Westport, Massachusetts.
When it was time to start wedding planning, Kateylyn and Zack knew they wanted a venue downtown so they could “share the beauty of the city” with their out-of-town guests. They set up a tour of The Bridge Building and fell in love at first sight!
On the day of the wedding, the pair opted out of a first look, so Zack saw his bride as her dad—who served as the officiant—walked her down the aisle for their sunny rooftop ceremony.
After the exchange of vows, guests found their way to a cocktail hour featuring candied bacon and cabernet as the wedding party posed for some final photos.
At the reception, a plated dinner of Southern selections was served by Infinity staff before the newlyweds cut their special cake, featuring an heirloom cake-topper, and tossed the bouquet and garter!
As the party kicked off, Kateylyn and Zack shared a first dance to “Blessings” by Florida Georgia Line. They chose this song because it describes a “simple happy life with lots of love” that they look forward to creating together. How sweet!
Their guests danced the night away before grabbing a shot of Tennessee whiskey and sending the newly married couple through a sparkler exit.
