FIVE BENEFITS OF
By Adam Loeffler of Details Nashville
1. Capturing the Unexpected
On your wedding day, there is a lot happening and you can only be in one place at a time! When you have videographers present to capture your special day, they are not just going to film the main events, but they will also get what’s happening behind the scenes. Like getting ready shots of both sides of the bridal party and spontaneous candid moments that can’t be planned for, like Great Aunt Betty on the dance floor. Having a videographer present at your wedding will help you to remember your special day and tell the story of your wedding in exactly the way it unfolded!
2. No Regrets
Video is often not something that people include as a “must have” in their budget. However, not having a videographer is often one of the largest regrets that brides have after their wedding! So learn from the mistakes of past brides, and move video up the priority list on your budget so that you won’t have the same regrets.
3. Wow Factor
There are certain aspects of wedding videos that are not only for you, but also for your guests! Here are a few of those over-the-top wow factors that we have done for clients in the past.
- Same Day Edit: With the same day edit we can have a video editor on location all day importing footage and editing a trailer for you. Nothing blows guests away like seeing special moments on the big screen that just happened throughout the day!
- Live Streaming: We’ve had the privilege to help out some of our clients whose friends or family could not be present at their wedding. We were able to live stream their ceremony for them! This is an exceptional consideration for people who want to watch the ceremony live, but for whatever reason couldn’t be physically present. This video is cut together from three separate angles (not just one stagnant angle) and stays live online indefinitely! So even if a person cannot watch it live, it is hosted online to be able to access and watch later as well.
4. Archive Your Memories
Something Details Nashville has done since we started the business is sharing the original footage we captured with our clients. A lot of videographers don't do this, but it was something that I value. I want to make sure that our clients have access to not only the edited videos we create for them, but also every moment that we capture throughout the day.
Here are three important scenarios for why it’s important to get the original footage.
- Laughter: Let’s say that Great Aunt Betty was breaking it down on the dance floor, and we included a 5 second clip of it in your highlight video, but the entire clip was 90 seconds long. I want you to be able to appreciate the full benefit of the 90 seconds of enjoyment from reliving that moment!
- Family: You and your spouse could one day have children, and it would be a lovely gift for your kids to be able to relive this important day that their parents had! I know from personal experience that my kids love looking back at my wedding day when “Daddy had hair!”
- Memories & Wine: I encourage you to plug in the hard drive on your first anniversary, and share a bottle of wine as you go through and re-experience all of the emotions together!
5. Share Your Wedding
Technology is always progressing. You buy a brand new phone, and then they come out with a newer model 15 minutes later! One thing with technology that does continue to progress, and has only increased in quality and use is social media.
With our wedding videos, we not only provide our couples with the original footage, edited ceremony video and edited highlight video on a hard drive, but we also upload the wedding highlight online to be streamed.
It’s a beautiful thing not just to have your wedding video for you to enjoy, but also to be able to share with all of your friends and family via social media!
