Here's a look back at a dreamy summer micro wedding we haven't stopped thinking about.
Sydney and David, both originally from Michigan, began their sweet relationship the summer before their freshman year of high school. After many years together and five years of being long distance while they attended different colleges, they reunited and found themselves settling down here in Tennessee.
For their sweet proposal, David got down on one knee at Rock Island State Park in front of a waterfall. What a dream!
When it came to planning the big day, it was important to, above all, be relaxed and happy as they celebrated with their small group of friends and family. After Sydney fell in love with The Bell Tower’s “wooden beams and romantic feel,” she knew it was the perfect venue for them!
The pair could hardly wait to say their “I dos.” On July 24, Sydney’s bridesmaids donned blush dresses to match their soft pink rose bouquets, and David’s groomsmen were all suited up with black bow ties. Nashville Lighting & Production hung a canopy of string lights around an elegant Maria chandelier for a glowing show-stopper above center stage.
Following a sweet ceremony, our team quickly flipped the main space for dinner while guests in attendance sipped on pinot grigio and loved ones who were unable to attend called and FaceTimed in to say congratulations.
As guests found their seats, champagne was passed in preparation for the toasts and everyone enjoyed a plated dinner.
Sydney and David later shared a first dance to “Remember These Words” by Michael Tyler and opened up the venue’s famous whiskey tasting room to enjoy some top-shelf sips.
Before guests made a sparkling exit for the newlyweds, they grabbed a personalized heart-shaped key chain to forever remember the day.
