Here’s a look back at Samantha and Sam’s modern garden wedding at The Bridge Building that we haven’t stopped dreaming about.
Samantha and Sam, both originally from Philadelphia, began their sweet relationship back in high school. After spending many years together and making a big move to Music City, Sam surprised Samantha with a proposal over a nice dinner at Gulch restaurant Kayne Prime.
When it came time to plan their big day, the couple decided that they wanted a wedding that was easygoing and overflowing with happiness.
Samantha fell in love with the industrial look of The Bridge Building but wanted to add loads of greenery for an indoor garden feel.
On their October wedding day, Samantha’s bridesmaids were dressed in champagne-colored dresses to match their ivory bouquets, and Sam’s groomsmen were all suited up in sleek black-tie attire.
To set the scene, Nashville Lighting & Production hung an array of Edison bulbs to pair with Forget Me Not’s simple and timeless arrangements. Greenery lined the aisles and draped over the venue’s steel beams, complimenting the lush round ceremony arch at the altar and creating an oh-so-romantic style.
Samantha stunned in a delicate floral lace gown, while Sam chose a classic and timeless black tux.
After their vows, guests mingled for cocktail hour and enjoyed pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta and hot chicken bites.
Once the reception tables were set, everyone sat down for a plated dinner service of ginger soy salmon, smoked brisket, or lemon and herb baked chicken, and a few sweet toasts were shared.
Samantha and Sam later shared their first dance to “When I Say I Do” by Mathew West, followed by a father-daughter dance to “My Girl” by The Temptations.
After a celebratory dance party, the night ended with a sparkler exit under the scenic Pedestrian Bridge! Keep scrolling for more details on an indoor garden vibe with modern style at The Bridge Building.
