Rebekah and Ralph rang in their first year as husband and wife in timeless style with a glamorous New Year's Eve wedding at The Bridge Building.
"I was bartending at Morton's Steakhouse when he and his friend came in before a Mardi Gras party," Rebekah told us. "We just really hit it off, so they skipped their party when my friend and I got off work and hung out with us the rest of the night."
Knowing it was love, Ralph proposed later down the line on the grassy hill where Rebekah accidentally got her car stuck on their first date!
Since their vow exchange topped the priority list for the big day, a rooftop ceremony covered in soft white drapery by Quest Events was just the ticket. And Infinity's dramatic crystal chandeliers were the perfect choice for an icy winter evening.
"We love fireworks, New Year's Eve, and urban Nashville, so we picked the venue based on where we thought we'd see the fireworks best to enjoy the best visual of [the city]," Rebekah told us. "We love the industrial look of The Bridge Building and adore the Nashville skyline view from it."
Guests kept warm during cocktail hour with a drink in hand and noshed on tomato bisque shooters and miniature grilled cheese sandwiches.
For a family-style dinner, entrees included grilled halibut with sun-dried tomato creamed spinach and roasted root vegetable hash, and filet with truffle cheddar crusted brussels sprouts and roasted corn and charred tomato risotto.
Later, the couple danced to "At Last" by Etta James. "It's timeless and gorgeous, and we thought it was played at my parents' wedding," Rebekah told us. "Turns out that was wrong, but oh well!"
For dessert, this sweet pair skipped a traditional wedding cake in favor of a taste of Tennessee. Our Jack Daniel's bread pudding with extra whipped cream!
To wrap up, guests toasted with a glass of champagne ten minutes before the new year and sent the couple off through a tunnel of sparklers as the clock struck twelve. Definitely a Cinderella ending!
