These Tennessee natives tied the knot with a lilac spring wedding on a windy day in Nashville.
From childhood neighbors to grade school besties, Rachel and Bryan were always meant to be. Bryan got down on one knee in front of friends and family at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens to make it officially official!
Rachel knew she wanted to say "I do," in her childhood church but after a few venue tours, the couple was set on having their reception at The Bridge Building.
Keeping tradition throughout their day, Rachel and Bryan wrote letters to each other to read before the ceremony. They also used the same pillow for the ring bearer that Rachel's brother and sister-in-law used two years prior.
Once the vows were complete, it was time to head over to The Bridge Building for a night of fun, food, and dancing!
With help from Music City Tents and Forget Me Not Designs, the room was adorned in white roses and hints of lilac.
As guests arrived they were greeted with passed hors d'oeuvres including pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, bacon-wrapped scallops, Key West crab cakes, lump crab stuffed mushrooms, teriyaki pepper beef rolls, and coconut-crusted shrimp. Followed by dinner stations with pork tenderloin tapas, quesadillas or chicken and waffles.
After an evening of Moscow mules, sweet cupcakes, and take-home koozies, it was time to send off the bride and groom! And what better way to end a spring wedding than with a bubble send-off?!
