Mylyn and Lance celebrated their nuptials with a rustic, romantic wedding at the Bridge Building, full of gold, navy, and burgundy details.
These two met through Facebook and had a sweet picnic by the Ohio River for their first date! After some time, Lance proposed with a ring he’d been holding on to for a year. They went kayaking one weekend, and when Mylyn found the box in their things, she was confused as to why he would bring it to the lake. Much to her surprise, Lance got on one knee and finally asked her to marry him.
Later, Mylyn came across the Bridge Building during a random search for Nashville venues, and when she saw the view of the city and the industrial style of the building, she knew it was where they had to tie the knot.
The wedding day began with a traditional first look. Mylyn wore a lace, mermaid-cut gown with a long, traditional veil, and she held a bouquet of bright burgundy roses and greenery. Later, Lance shared with us that this was his most memorable moment from the day, and we can’t blame him!
Mylyn’s bridesmaids wore form-fitting burgundy dresses, while Lance and his groomsmen rocked navy suits with gold ties. As for the venue, the Cumberland space was set with cascading string lights, a rustic greenery ring overhead, and soft candle lighting for the ceremony.
Once the two said “I do,” guests made their way to the riverfront to enjoy delectable hors d'oeuvres of candied bacon, jumbo shrimp cocktail shooters, pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, bacon-wrapped scallops, soft pretzel bites, and hot chicken biscuits. Yum!
Meanwhile, our Infinity staff transformed the ceremony space into a rustic, romantic reception with navy and burgundy linens with greenery centerpieces.
For the couple, one of the most important parts of their wedding day was the first dance. So as guests enjoyed their buffet selections, Mylyn and Lance shared their first dance as husband and wife to “You’re Still the One” by Shania Twain.
After a long night of dancing and laughter, guests grabbed a much-needed hangover kit provided by the couple and sent them on their newly-married way!
