Molly and Brett celebrated their love with an elegant winter wedding at the Bridge Building.
The two met when Brett moved from Mobile, Ala., to Nashville for a job with the same public accounting firm as Molly’s mom. Little did he know he would soon be meeting his forever! On a random afternoon, Molly dropped off her taxes and locked eyes with her future husband.
After bonding over Predators games, hanging with friends, and trips to the beach, Brett decided to put a ring on Molly’s finger during an early morning walk at Fort Negley Park.
When it came to wedding planning, Molly and Brett knew they wanted an elegant, stress-free day with a winter flare at the Bridge Building. For them, our venue was a “no-brainer” due to the downtown view and iconic location.
On the day of their December wedding, Molly stunned in a sweetheart neckline with a cascading bouquet full of greenery and ivory florals, while Brett rocked a navy suit and white tie.
After a sweet first look and wedding party photos around the venue, vows were exchanged in the Cumberland space. Molly and Brett personalized their ceremony with a unity wine boxing using letters they wrote the night before and asking their guests to recite the Lord’s prayer. “During [the prayer], both Brett and I got completely fumbled over our words. Laughable for sure, but it was very special to stand in silence listening to all our loved ones actually speak it over us,” Molly explained.
Guests then made their way to the riverfront for a chilly cocktail hour as Infinity staff flipped the space for a plated dinner service. And what was on the menu? Blackberry pork loin with Brussel sprouts and sweet potato grain, and lemon herb baked chicken with broccolini and roasted Yukon potatoes. Yum!
Once guests were full and the cake was cut, everyone was invited to the rooftop to share in Molly and Brett’s first dance to “You are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne before a night full of fun.
Family, friends, and loved ones later grabbed a take-home koozie and sent the newlyweds on their way!
