After their rehearsal dinner at The Bridge Building, social butterflies Leslie and Kyle tied the knot with an organic, gold wedding at The Bell Tower.
When Kyle was in town for his SEC basketball tournament, he ran into Leslie at Bakersfield on Broadway. And the rest, as they say, is history!
Since this sweet pair is pretty untraditional, they focused more on what they truly wanted versus what a "traditional" wedding may look like.
"We wanted the focus to be on our guests having a good time, and we wanted to make sure the entire day felt personal to us," Leslie told us.
A sparkling color palette of gold and champagne set an elegant tone from the very start. And wild, overgrown bouquets bursting with greenery from Enchanted Florist added undeniable romance.
The day began with plenty of mimosas as the bridal party got ready for a heartfelt ceremony between the windows.
Afterward, cocktail hour kicked off on the patio with fresh, fall-inspired bites for all. These included cranberry bruschetta, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and tomato bisque and mini grilled cheese.
Following a drink or two, guests were served a plated dinner and enjoyed table-side wine service. The meal began with classic wedge salads followed by baseball cut sirloin oscar with grilled asparagus, and lemon and herb baked chicken breast with rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes.
Leslie and Kyle danced to "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson, causing more than a few hankies to magically appear. And in the spirit of Music City, each guest received a bottle of hot sauce from a close friend of the couple who owns a downtown Nashville restaurant.
Later in the evening, the Tasting Room opened for guests to peruse and sample specialty liquors of their choosing. All with a slice of cake in hand, of course!
To wrap up, guests lined the Bell Tower staircase as Leslie and Kyle left the building in style. But it didn't stop there! They led everyone over to Rocketown to keep the party going all night long.
"The entire day was magical! Everything went perfectly. And even though we had 180 guests, it felt very intimate," Leslie told us. "There was just so much love in the room!"
