Lead Line Cook
Infinity Hospitality is a full-service event planning and design company providing a wide array of event services from venue styling to vendor management, event staffing, and more. We are currently hiring for our event centers; The Bell Tower, The Bridge Building and Estate at Cherokee Dock. We are currently looking for Catering Lead Line Chefs.
Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years experience in a from scratch full service kitchen. Batch cooking and banquet experience is a plus. Potential candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. We are a growing company and there is room to grow for the right candidates. Pay: Range from $22-$24 an hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Assists in coordinating and participating in the preparation and cooking of food items.
- Ensure adherence to recipes, safety practices and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Work with the Banquet Director and Chefs with execution of production
- Assist with the load and unloading products
- Able to be flexible in scheduling
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a Professional Kitchen.
- Knowledge of food and industry trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Knowledgeable knife skills.
- Ability to work independently and with all levels of leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to work standing for extended periods of time.
- Able to break down proteins and follow recipes.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Cooking in a Professional Kitchen: 3 years (Required)
