Travel lovers Kelly and Khanh were married on a sunny day at The Bridge Building, and their mauve fall wedding was a complete dream.
These two met at the hospital where they both work and Khanh later asked Kelly to be his wife under the Eiffel Tower on a trip to Paris. Swoon!
To celebrate Khanh's Vietnamese heritage, their rehearsal dinner kicked off the weekend and included a traditional tea ceremony to begin the festivities.
For their wedding, this sweet pair envisioned a stress-free day with a great atmosphere and an elegant design that didn't feel too over the top. We think we pulled it off!
Rich mauve tones paired perfectly with gray and gold accents for a modern take on a fall palette. Twinkling string lights were strung from the rooftop tent for the ceremony and inside the Cumberland space for the reception.
The two said "I do" on the rooftop, framed by a circular greenery arch dusted with blush roses. The entire tent was draped by Quest Events for an ethereal feel. Definitely one of our favorite looks!
During cocktail hour, guests sipped and snacked on light bites including bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops, brisket tacos, margherita flatbread, and pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta.
Later for dinner, southwest salads were waiting at each table setting as guests took their seats. Entrees included cashew encrusted chicken and filet and prawn with lemon roasted fingerling potatoes and a sprout and squash medley.
The evening came to a close with a slice or two of another gorgeous Dulce Desserts creation. A four-tiered white cake with intricate detailing and dusty pink roses.
