JULIE KATE + BROOKS’ WHIMSICAL WEDDING

Julie Kate and Brooks' whimsical wedding at The Bell Tower was complete with lush floral arrangements and boho-inspired decor.

These two studied at the University of Tennessee and met during their senior year. After graduating, Brooks moved to Nashville to start his career while Julie Kate stayed at UT to complete her masters.

A long-distance relationship wasn't ideal for the pair, but to Brooks it was practically love at first sight, and he was not going to let that go! After a sweet proposal in downtown Nashville, Julie Kate and Brooks were ready to start planning.

"We both wanted something big and beautiful. I love how romantic and spacious The Bell Tower is," she told us.

For the ceremony, a floral ring of blush roses and dainty amaranthus by Murfreesboro Flower Shop hung above the altar. While white whimsical lanterns and string lights filled the soaring ceiling above.

When vows were complete, guests headed to the patio to snack on our favorite candied bacon as well as cranberry bruschetta and southern chicken sliders. Following cocktail hour, dinner was served. Stations included a trio of salads, baked potatoes, and BBQ sliders. Yum!

Afterward, the couple shared a first dance to a recording of Julie Kate's grandfather playing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" on his piano. With teary eyes and warm hearts, guests later joined Julie Kate and Brooks on the dance floor before sending them off in a sparkler tunnel.
