It's no secret that a wedding guest book is a must-have. There is nothing more special than having a personal piece of memorabilia to commemorate your special day. Especially one that is filled with sweet notes and well wishes from each and every one of your guests!
These days, we are seeing an influx of super creative and uniquely personal alternatives to the traditional wedding guest book. Pen and bound paper be gone! Couples are opting for something that speaks to who they are as a couple and something that is a little more exciting to sign than your average book.
We've rounded up a list of our favorites from real weddings below. Scroll on to get your own creative juices flowing!
1. CUSTOM PRINTS
Have your guests sign custom prints to commemorate your day. Choose a print that fits your personal style, and then have it framed to display in your home.
2. ADVICE CARDS
Instead of just signing their names, have your nearest and dearest leave some wishes and words of advice. Read them now or save them for later! On your one year anniversary while you're pulling out the top tier of your wedding cake, read through the tips together to share some laughs and maybe a few tears.

3. RECORDS
If you're a music lover like many of us in Music City, have your guests sign your favorite records. Display them later along with your impressive music collection.

5. CUSTOM CANVAS
This couple said "I do" right before a hot air balloon ride. During the reception, guests signed a custom canvas keeping with the theme of the day.

6. KEYS TO SUCCESS
Similar to advice cards, we love this fun way to learn the keys to a successful marriage. Have your family and friends share their tips on paper tags attached to old keys.

8. WOOD DISPLAY
Much like custom canvas art, a hand-painted wood sign is also a great albeit more rustic way to commemorate your big day and display in your home.

9. ATLAS
This jet-setting couple centered their wedding day around travel. In lieu of a traditional guest book, their guests flipped through an atlas and wrote a note next to their favorite vacation spot. This gave them plenty of ideas for future travel destinations!

10. TREE ILLUSTRATION
Guests sign their name on each branch of the tree, creating the illusion of leaves and pine cones. The finished product is sweet piece of art to frame and display.
