Betsy and David's wedding weekend began with an elegant rehearsal dinner at The Bridge Building.
David's parents hosted their family and close friends for an intimate dinner in honor of the soon-to-be newlyweds. Afterward, they were joined by even more guests to celebrate the kick-off of their big weekend.
David's mother Beth found a beautiful invitation that consisted of beige, ivory and gold which consequently became the theme and overall look for the evening.
As a result, we created a space that was elegant yet simple, utilizing warm beige linens, crisp white napkins and glamorous gold Chiavari chairs.
The couple's main goal was to treat everyone to a wonderful meal with a fantastic view. It was important that everyone was taken care of and that no detail was missed. We definitely made that happen!
The evening began with passed hors d'oeuvres including candied bacon, pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, margherita flatbread, antipasto skewers, artichoke beignets and coconut crusted shrimp. Guests sipped on the couple's signature cocktail from Nashville Event Bartending, as well as some of their favorite local brews.
For dinner, guests were served chef-carved herb roasted beef tenderloin with grilled asparagus and garlic parmesan mashed potatoes or grilled halibut with sautéed haricots vert, and roasted corn and charred tomato risotto.
After dinner, family and friends of the couple took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about old memories. Everyone took turns to congratulate the pair and wish them well. It was a fun way to incorporate the whole room and you could feel how excited everyone was for them.
