Friends first, sparks flew when Colin asked Alyssa to be his date to – wait for it – another wedding! He instantly knew she was the one and proposed at Silo on his birthday.
The couple envisioned a casual and intimate affair full of fun music, dancing, good food and good beer. Their summer wedding at The Bell Tower ticked all the boxes and was a total blast for all who attended.
Pops of blue were incorporated everywhere from the lush florals by Branching Out to navy napkins from Liberty Party Rental to Alyssa's bridesmaids' dresses and her "something blue" Converse kicks!
The day began with a sweet first look outside of The Bell Tower. Alyssa chose to include a first look with each of her parents too. It was the sweetest thing to see!
Afterward, Alyssa and Colin tied the knot beneath the beams framed by a sweet greenery arch. The couple has a huge family and we loved how they were all included in the ceremony.
Following their nuptials, guests made their way to the patio for cornhole. Guests sipped on a selection of local beers from Nashville Event Bartending's Local Brews package and noshed on light bites. Passed hors d'oeuvres included prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, brisket tacos, fried green tomatoes, and fried mac and cheese.
For dinner, guests helped themselves to maple mustard glazed chicken or bourbon glazed salmon from a buffet spread. And don't forget the biscuits with honey butter!
For dessert, a towering donut wall sat proudly on display with an assortment of donuts from Fox's Donut Den. It was such a fun way to incorporate the couples favorite treat, and it was awesome to see guests' reactions when they saw it!
Guests then ventured to The Tasting Room for an after dinner drink or two and grabbed a Goo Goo cluster to take home.
To wrap up the evening, Alyssa and Colin's family and friends sent them off through a tunnel of glowsticks down Korean Veterans Boulevard and into their waiting getaway Mercedes by Grand Avenue.
