Alexa and Conor had the most romantic and modern wedding with neutral decor and bright white flower arrangements at The Bell Tower.
This sweet couple met in high school and then went on to college together at Auburn University. After graduating and a bit of long distance, Conor asked Alexa to marry him.
When it came to their wedding day, Alexa wanted a mix of romantic, modern, and natural design elements. Teaming up with Old Louisville Flower Studio and Infinity Hospitality Group, they nailed it.
For the ceremony, our main space was set with mahogany Chiavari chairs and a hexagonal wooden arch at the altar. It was dressed in bright white and ivory floral arrangements mixed with whimsical greenery and airy white draping that created a romantic focal point. Up above hong three beautiful Gatsby-style chandeliers.
After saying “I do," and as event staff flipped the main space for the reception, guests gathered on the covered patio for a cocktail hour. The decor and setup encompassed the modern feel Alexa was looking for, set with neutral lounge groupings, a custom neon sign, and gold details that provided a beautiful space for guests to mingle and socialize ahead of dinner.
Alexa and Conor’s design style was cohesive throughout the day, with the reception perfectly matching the ceremony and cocktail hour. The space was filled with neutral, white, and gold details. The head table was lined with an airy white runner, elevated floral arrangements with more whimsical greenery, and centerpieces that repurposed the bridesmaids’ bouquet to add depth and texture. The rest of the tables featured matching floral arrangements and champagne gold linens to finish off the modern look.
For their traditional reception cake, the newlyweds went with a classic three-tier white cake with gold leaf details to match their design, while the groom's cake was elaborately decorated with a mahi mahi fish and buttercream waves.
Alexa and Conor shared their first dance to "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison and made their exit as guests waved navy blue and burnt orange shakers for their alma mater, Auburn!
