Megan and Michael celebrated their nuptials with a classic white wedding at The Bridge Building.
Megan moved from Baton Rouge to Music City in 2017 and quickly made friends with a group of girls that would later introduce her to her future hubby. Soon after Michael moved from Charleston in the spring of 2018, they were both invited on a kayaking trip by one of Megan’s new gals. And it is safe to say that it was love at first sight!
The pair then spent a year and a half traveling from Orange Beach to Cincinnati, growing their relationship before Michael decided to propose at the beautiful Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina.
When it came time to plan the wedding, they knew they wanted to have good drinks and even better music. And what better place to have that than in the heart of downtown Nashville?
On March 27, 2021, the rooftop of the Bridge Building was set with swooping string lights, pillar candles lining the aisle, and a copper arch with floral arrangements that framed the altar.
Before the ceremony began, Megan and Michael shared a sweet first look that they will cherish for years to come.
Following their classic ceremony, guests headed downstairs to sip on a signature cocktail— a classic Paloma. White linens, winter florals, and moody string lights transformed the main space into a dreamy reception.
Dinner featured several stations of gourmet french fries, macaroni and cheese, four cheese penne pasta, smoked gouda bowtie pasta, bread bowls with three soup selections, and build-your-own sliders.
As guests cleaned their plates, the rooftop opened for a night full of fun and dancing. Megan and Michael kicked off the dance floor with their first dance to “Precious Love” by James Morrison.
And before the night was over, the couple gave their guests double doozies and Taco Bell for a late-night snack. Yum!
