Lauren and Grant celebrated their love with a classic summer wedding full of soft blue hues and dainty details.
This sweet couple met in true Nashville style on a Sunday afternoon at the well known Dawg House Saloon during the NHL playoffs. Once they locked eyes, Grant made the first move— and just a year later, he found himself down on one knee asking Lauren to be his wife!
"We always knew we wanted the ceremony to be at Lauren's childhood church, Christ Church Cathedral. Pretty quickly, we knew The Bell Tower was what we wanted for the reception," Grant told us. "We only looked at four places total but couldn't forget the beauty of The Bell Tower."
They started their big day with a sweet first look before their ceremony.
"We both felt like we needed those few minutes of alone time together before we started the celebration," Lauren told us. "It helped ease the nerves for the rest of the day!"
While Lauren and Grant said their vows, we set up The Bell Tower for their classic summer wedding reception. The room was decorated with white and powder blue linens, acrylic details, whimsical floral arrangements, and loads of greenery on each table.
As guests arrived, they enjoyed a premium bar of beer and wine on the patio, in addition to a handful of savory bites. Selections included pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, fried green tomatoes, bleu cheese stuffed bacon-wrapped dates, brisket tacos, and miniature chicken and waffles. But the food didn't stop there!
Before Lauren and Grant shared their first dance to "All I'll Ever Need" by Anderson East, guests filled their plates from the dinner buffet. Fun fact: they chose their first dance song while on a road trip together just six weeks into their relationship!
It was important to Lauren and Grant that all of their guests had a good time and danced. Looking back, it seems that they did just that! With memories to share for a lifetime, guests sent-off the newlyweds through a tunnel of sparklers.
