Megan and Taylor's rustic romantic wedding at The Bell Tower was southern-inspired with a relaxed, casual feel.
The pair met at William & Mary college where sparks flew. Their relationship went the distance when Megan lived in New York and Taylor in D.C. Shortly after, they moved to Nashville on a whim to begin their lives together.
Even though the pair now live in Philadelphia, they knew they wanted to make it official right here in Nashville where their lives finally merged.
They envisioned a fun, stress-free destination wedding with a glowing cocktail hour feel carried throughout the day. With that in mind, we couldn't wait to get started!
The day began with an intimate first look at Up, A Rooftop Lounge, which had the couple grinning from ear to ear. Megan radiated joy in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder lace dress as she carried an overflowing bouquet. And we loved Taylor's elegant navy tuxedo jacket too. Kudos to our ultra-stylish grooms!
After pictures with the rest of the wedding party, everyone made their way to The Bell Tower to kick off the festivities where rustic romance was the name of the game.
A custom greenery ring by Forget Me Not Designs was suspended from the beams to mark the altar. Sprigs of greenery lined the aisle as Megan made her grand entrance escorted by her mom.
Following, guests made their way to the patio for cocktail hour as the main space was transformed for the reception. The couple chose two signature cocktails to honor their precious pups and we're obsessed! Guests sipped Tom the Dog Collins' and Palmer's Punch made with vodka, St. Germain, lime juice, lemonade, a splash of champagne and a pink rock candy garnish.
And since we don't ever suggest drinking on an empty stomach, plenty of light bites were served as well. Including southern favorites like fried green tomatoes, mini chicken and waffles, and mini pulled pork sliders.
The reception space was washed with soft ambient lighting by Infinity's production team with ivory linens and navy napkins from Music City Tents for a classic southern look.
After mixing and mingling, guests were seated for dinner, where balsamic grape and apple salads with cornbread and honey butter were already waiting. They perused the buffet for entrees including chef-carved slow roasted prime rib with grilled asparagus and and rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes. Buttermilk fried chicken and four cheese macaroni was also up for grabs.
For dessert, our donut lovers just couldn't help but include a custom wooden donut wall into their day. With an assortment of donuts by none other than Fox's Donut Den, of course!
When it was time to say goodnight, Megan and Taylor's nearest and dearest wished them well as they exited through a tunnel of sparklers.
